These terms apply to Reflex 3, its TestFlight beta, and beta signup on rflx.app. Reflex is published by rflx.app (“we” or “us”). Contact us at rflx.app@gmail.com. By using Reflex 3, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
For earlier app versions, see our previous terms. These terms do not cancel an existing purchase or subscription or remove rights you already have under an earlier agreement or applicable law.
Using Reflex
Reflex is a creative camera app for previewing effects and capturing photos and videos on compatible Apple devices. Reflex 3 currently requires iOS or iPadOS 26 or later. Available effects and performance depend on device capabilities, permissions, temperature, storage, and other conditions.
Subject to these terms and Apple’s applicable usage rules, you may install and use the app on devices you own or control. The app, its code, artwork, and branding belong to us or their respective licensors. Do not redistribute the app, bypass its protections, or use it unlawfully. Restrictions on copying or reverse engineering apply only to the extent permitted by law and applicable open-source licenses.
Your photos, videos, and music
You retain your rights in the original content you create. You are responsible for having permission to photograph or record people and for respecting privacy, copyright, and other rights when using or sharing media. Reflex does not upload your creations to a public feed.
Optional Apple Music playback is provided through Apple and may require authorization, an eligible subscription, and an internet connection. Access to a track does not grant you rights to record, export, publish, or otherwise redistribute it. Apple’s terms and the rights holders’ permissions apply. Reflex’s built-in recording controls are unavailable while its expanded Apple Music mode is active.
Save important recordings to Photos and keep your own backups. Preview and temporary files are not a backup service, and a recording or export can fail.
Joining the waitlist
Submitting an email joins the waitlist to hear when the beta is ready. It does not mean the app is already available on TestFlight. We add testers manually through Apple’s TestFlight once testing opens; joining the waitlist does not guarantee an invitation, a particular date, or continued access. Provide an email address you control. You can withdraw your request by contacting us.
The form is delivered by FormSubmit. If delivery fails, email rflx.app@gmail.com instead. How we handle signup details is explained in our Privacy Policy.
TestFlight beta
Beta software is unfinished and may contain bugs, interrupted features, or changes that affect your experience. Apple imposes its own TestFlight requirements and build expiration rules. We may update, limit, or end the beta, including remotely replacing the camera with a beta-ended screen linking to the App Store. A beta invitation does not promise that the eventual public release will be free or include every beta feature.
The current Reflex 3 beta does not offer a subscription purchase flow. If a future release offers paid features, their price and purchase terms will be shown before purchase. Any previous Apple-managed subscription remains subject to its original purchase terms and can be managed in your Apple account settings. Your optional Apple Music subscription is separate.
Feedback is welcome through TestFlight or email. You allow us to use suggestions to improve Reflex without an obligation to implement them or compensate you; this does not transfer ownership of your photos or videos to us.
Privacy and other services
Our Privacy Policy describes on-device media processing, Firebase analytics and diagnostics, remote configuration, and signup data. Apple, Google Firebase, FormSubmit, and other linked services operate under their own applicable terms. Connectivity and mobile data charges are your responsibility.
Apple’s standard app license agreement applies where supplied with the app. These terms supplement applicable Apple agreements and do not override mandatory Apple usage rules or your statutory rights.
Availability and responsibility
We aim to keep Reflex useful and reliable, but cannot promise uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every device, or error-free effects and exports. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the beta is provided as available without additional warranties. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits mandatory consumer rights.
You may stop using Reflex at any time. We may change or discontinue features or beta access, subject to applicable law and existing purchase rights. If these terms materially change, we will update this page and give additional notice when required. Changes do not apply retroactively to remove rights you already have.
