Wave note Terms of Use
Last updated: July 27, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and rflx.app (“we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your use of the Wave note app and its share extension (together, “Wave note”).
By downloading, purchasing, or using Wave note, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
App Store terms
Wave note is licensed, not sold. Your use of the app is also subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Apple Standard EULA”). These Terms supplement the Apple Standard EULA. If these Terms conflict with the Apple Standard EULA on a matter governed by that agreement, the Apple Standard EULA controls.
Eligibility
You must be legally capable of agreeing to these Terms. If you are not old enough to enter into a binding agreement where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms for you.
What Wave note provides
Wave note helps you save and organize notes, links, photos, checklists, voice notes, reminders, Apple Music references, and boards. Some features require internet access, iCloud, Apple Music, device permissions, or a Wave note Pro entitlement.
We may add, change, limit, or remove features to improve the app, respond to legal or technical requirements, or discontinue features that are no longer practical to support. We will not intentionally remove paid access without regard to applicable law or your mandatory consumer rights.
License and acceptable use
Subject to these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Wave note on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by Apple’s Usage Rules.
You may not:
- copy, distribute, rent, lease, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit Wave note except where applicable law permits;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, attempt to derive source code, or create derivative works except where a restriction is prohibited by law;
- bypass purchase, access, usage, security, or technical limits;
- use Wave note to violate law, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, or the rights of another person;
- introduce malware or interfere with the operation or security of Wave note or related services; or
- use automated means to abuse or place an unreasonable load on services used by Wave note.
All rights not expressly granted are reserved by rflx.app and its licensors.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you save in Wave note. You give us only the limited rights necessary to operate features you request, such as storing content on your device and enabling synchronization through Apple’s CloudKit.
You are responsible for:
- ensuring that you have the right to save and use your content;
- deciding what sensitive information to place in the app;
- maintaining control of your device and Apple Account; and
- keeping any additional copy of content you cannot afford to lose.
Do not use Wave note to store or distribute unlawful content or content that infringes another person’s rights.
Privacy
Our Wave note Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app. By using Wave note, you acknowledge the practices described there.
Wave note Pro, subscriptions, and purchases
Wave note may offer:
- an auto-renewing annual Wave note Pro subscription; and
- a one-time Wave note Pro lifetime purchase.
The products, prices, currency, features, and any trial or promotional offer available to you are shown in the App Store purchase interface before you confirm a purchase. Prices and offers may vary by country or region and may change as permitted by Apple and applicable law.
Annual subscription
Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The annual subscription automatically renews for another annual period unless you cancel it before renewal. Apple charges your account for renewal according to the price and timing disclosed in the App Store purchase interface and your Apple subscription settings.
The annual plan may include a seven-day free trial for eligible users. The exact trial or introductory offer available to you is shown before purchase. Unless canceled before the trial ends, the subscription converts to a paid auto-renewing subscription at the displayed price. Eligibility for introductory offers is determined by Apple.
You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting Wave note does not cancel a subscription. For instructions, see Apple’s subscription cancellation guide.
Lifetime purchase
The lifetime purchase is a non-consumable, one-time in-app purchase that unlocks the Pro features described at purchase. “Lifetime” means for as long as Wave note remains available and supported for compatible devices and the purchase remains valid and restorable through the Apple Account used to buy it. It does not guarantee that every current feature, third-party service, operating-system version, or device will remain available indefinitely. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Billing, restoration, and refunds
Apple processes payments, renewals, cancellations, purchase restoration, taxes, and refunds. We do not receive your full payment-card details. You can use Restore Purchases in Wave note when appropriate. Refund eligibility is governed by Apple’s policies and applicable law; requests can be submitted at reportaproblem.apple.com.
If payment fails, is reversed, refunded, or revoked, or if Apple cannot verify an entitlement, access to paid features may be suspended or removed.
Third-party services and content
Wave note relies on or interacts with services provided by Apple and Google, including iCloud/CloudKit, the App Store and StoreKit, Apple Music and MusicKit, Link Presentation, Firebase Analytics, and Firebase Crashlytics. Those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
Link previews, saved links, Apple Music results, and other external content are provided by third parties. We do not control or endorse third-party websites, services, availability, accuracy, legality, or privacy practices. You are responsible for complying with third-party terms when using them.
Availability, sync, and updates
Some features require a compatible device, supported operating system, sufficient storage, an internet connection, an active iCloud or Apple Music account, or permission to access device capabilities. Carrier, internet, Apple, or other third-party charges may apply.
Sync timing and availability depend on Apple’s iCloud and CloudKit services and your device settings. Wave note is not a guaranteed archival or backup service. Hardware failure, account issues, storage limits, software defects, service outages, user error, or changes to third-party services can affect content or functionality.
You may need to install app or operating-system updates to continue using Wave note. We do not guarantee support for every device or operating-system version indefinitely.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wave note is provided “as is” and “as available,” with all faults and without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. We do not warrant that Wave note will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every device, or that content will never be lost.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees, or other rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, rflx.app and its affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of business arising from or related to Wave note.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid for Wave note during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or the minimum amount required by applicable law.
These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable law so provides.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using Wave note at any time. Canceling a subscription is separate from deleting the app.
We may suspend or terminate your right to use Wave note if you materially violate these Terms, misuse the app, or if continuing to provide the app becomes unlawful or technically impractical. Upon termination, the license granted under these Terms ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute provisions.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to Wave note, purchases, third-party services, or legal requirements. We will post the revised Terms at this URL and update the “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice where required. Continued use after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
Governing rules
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where rflx.app is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that you retain any mandatory protections and rights available under the laws of your country or region. Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from using courts or dispute-resolution processes available under mandatory law.
Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be enforced to the greatest extent permitted and the remaining provisions will remain in effect. These Terms, the Wave note Privacy Policy, the Apple Standard EULA, and any purchase terms shown by Apple form the agreement governing your use of Wave note.
Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to do so later. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent, except where applicable law permits.
